Sébastien Pahud, Associate Director

It is an opportunity to offer high value-added teaching resources and to develop a training tool that complements what already exists.

Being able to work on real-world situations safely, start again, discuss, and make mistakes.

I bring overall project management, organisation, and leadership.

By delivering multiple multidisciplinary projects and founding several companies.
My work as a trainer adds a “teaching” dimension.

Absolutely not. Virtual reality is an excellent complement to training tools.
It must be used appropriately and when it adds value.

Yes, I am a director of several companies.

More than 13 years of volunteer service in a Vaud fire brigade and federal instructor training in this field.

I am convinced that the learning solutions offered by virtual and augmented reality will have a lasting impact on the transfer of know-how.
With my partners, we have the experience and skills needed to bridge the gap between technology and people.

Safe immersion in a situation as close to reality as possible.

Andragogy: the art and science of teaching adults.
I want our clients to leave our training courses convinced that they have learned.

For 30 years, I have been refining my knowledge to make learning easier for my clients.
I am inspired by the work of Carol Dweck and the field of neuroscience.

No. That would be an addiction. In our training field, I see virtual reality as a tool that makes it possible to offer solutions that support the acquisition of new skills.

Yes. I coach executives and elite athletes. I manage a nautical centre and I make technical content accessible. And my friends could certainly name others.

Yes. I have been a volunteer firefighter since 1986 and was still active in 2023 within SIS Morget.

It is thanks to feedback from participants in our first trials in this area. The feedback was very positive, mainly regarding the added value provided by virtual reality.

What you see on the screen (or in the VR headset) is no longer open to interpretation. Participants therefore have the same perception of the issue.

As a technician, I bring my skills in project implementation, hardware and software integration, and technical support.

I have always liked new technologies and I am very curious about IT/electronics. I made it my profession, which I have pursued with passion for 20 years.

No. For me, VR is a tool that complements traditional methods. VR should not be used where it does not add value.

I am also active in a Vaud-based company that supports self-employed people, very small businesses, and SMEs. In this context, I help companies with their digital transition.

I had the opportunity to be a volunteer firefighter for 17 years in several Vaud SDIS. My career led me to become a federal instructor. Today, in addition to Cube Services activities, I work closely with several SDIS on digitalisation and technology migration projects.
